It has been a long wait since I have won the bloodiest auction battle I have ever participated in order to win the right to bring one of the rarest Dollfie Dream Kuze Kiriha home, released at Kyoto 5 of 2008, but her appearances in Yahoo Japan Auction is considerably more rare than Dollfie Dream before her such as Feena Fam Earthlight and Estel Freesia, Dollfie Dream that released along with her, such as Erika Sendo; and Dollfie Dream that released after her, such as Saber, Asuka Langley Soryu and Rei Ayanami.  Ever since I have finished play Fortune Arterial back in January, I have already determined to bring her home… and the wait is finally over!  I hereby present to you, my thirteenth daughter -Kuze Kiriha- 紅瀬桐葉!

To celebrate her arrival, I have Feena, my 4th daughter to come out and introduce her to us!

I have always wanted to go back and do some vintage figure shoot (I guess at least some of you must be bored by the constant Dollfie posts, let’s break it up with something different!), but the lack of proper equipment has prohibited me from doing so.  Some of my earliest prepainted figure collection date back about 7 -9 years or so and the picking were slim back in those days.  PVC figures were no where near as high quality as we see from Good Smile Company or Alter today.  Instead, most of the above average quality figures were cold cast polystone, or just resin figures that you need to paint yourself.  Today, we will take a look at my Evangelion duo that has been part of my earliest collection.  Their quality is of course, not close to the high standard we hold the top tier figure manufacturers today, but they are indeed vintage and we can see just how far the figurine industry has come along!

Japan trip loots

Some of you who have been following my blog would know that I have just traveled to Japan recently for a super condensed sight seeing and shopping trip.  I have a set of mission objectives that I wanted to accomplish, and I have managed to finish most of them by Saturday night Japan time.  But how can it be?  There are only 3 real days to work with, I have to be back in the airport before noon on Sunday.  As I reveal the details of my complete walk-through of my super condensed Japan trip, it will become more obvious!

  1. See the Odaiba Gundam
  2. Watch the Kamen Rider movie
  3. Watch the Evangelion 2.0 movie You can (not) advance
  4. Shopping in Akihabara
  5. Shopping for Dollfie Clothes and appropriate size Rider belts
  6. Go to a maid cafe

I am fairly proud to say that I have accomplished every one of the above objectives even though this trip was so short.  For starter, I am going to cover my loots during this trip and I will expand onto some of the finer details of my experience of my super condensed, super fast pace first trip to Japan.  Without further ado, let me get started.  First is the grand scale loots!

Obviously, you can’t really see anything like this, so let me break them down into their categories.
