I guess Volks somehow knew I have been scratching my head to find a way to put together the all too famous Sasara School Swimsuit Maid costume, I have just about every other pieces figured out but not the hand warmer… I was going to have Sasara borrow that from Rina’s stage idol set but Rina won’t arrive until some time in May or June… but Volks has answered my plea and is releasing the costume as Kyoto 7 limited item!!!!  Thank god it’s a limited item, I don’t want to fight the the website congestion that is sure to happen in the After Event sale.

This is just perfect!  Exactly what I need to finish my Harem Maid cafe setup! I need to get my hands on this ASAP!  This famous scene in ToHeart 2 X-rated at the school cafeteria must be recreated!!!!

A few days ago I sent my White Album Dollfie Dream Support Message to Volks USA to show my appreciation and support for their White Album Project.  The staffs at Volks USA really appreciated my message and told me they would forward my message to their team in Japan.  Today, they posted the pictures of my girls in their Sumika Times Blog page!

For those of you who are familiar with my habit, you would probably know that I have fairly strict requirements for knowing the personality and character of a Dollfie Dream before I decide to adopt them, for example, when Volks announced ToHeart 2 Kusugawa Sasara Dollfie Dream, I cast almost everything aside and focused on learning about Sasara.  The situation is fairly similar for the White Album Dollfie Dream, I wasn’t too impressed with the story outline at first and thought it is one of those typical harem anime… but a few punchi blurbers in figure.fm have convinced me to at least give the White Album anime a try because they felt I would like Ogata Rina.  It didn’t take very long for me to completely fall for Rina’s character, she is intriguing, elegant, beautiful, have more balls than all the men combined in the show!  She is most definitely one of the most awesome bishoujo characters I have seen in recent memory.  It is very refreshing to see a character like Rina to rise from the recently saturated market of “moe” characters.  We need more characters like Rina in anime!

Anyway, after about half way into the White Album anime, I have already decided to take Rina home at the first available opportunity.  You might have noticed the White Album Dollfie Dream Support banner in my side bar already   I have been checking the White Album Dollfie Dream page daily as well as the Dollfie Dream blog for any available information, I tracked back to the Yoko/Nia release schedule step by step and determined that we will see something by the end of the year at least and sure enough, Volks has announced more details about 10 days ago in the White Album Dollfie Dream Update that they will be releasing the schedule by the end of the year.

To show our appreciation and support for the White Album design team, my daughters have prepared their very own special message!

Those of you who are familiar with my habit, you would probably know that a new full family daughters group shots are coming soon, that’s right!  I love doing group shots and since I already had 5 of them in a group photo, it just feel wrong not to bring the other girls into the picture!  Building on the Christmas Theme Photo shoot yesterday, I present to you, the latest Dollfie Dream Daughters Glorious Gathering Group Photo~ Also known as DDDGGG.

Some of you with good memory would remember that I have been wanting to do the full family group photo for a long time, but losing out on Natsuki in the Dollfie Dream Gathering had put a huge delay in that plan, but fortunately, Volks USA came thru and beat their own schedule and had Natsuki arrived before Christmas~

After taking a prolonged break from filming the Dollfie Dream Theater, I have finally picked myself up and continue on the story that has been in the planning stage for several months.  It was sort of difficult to get back into the swing of things at first, but I have finally managed to finish this part of the story just right before Christmas.  So, without further ado, let me present to you the latest edition of the Dollfie Dream Theater – The New Scenario (in celebration for Christmas, it’s the extra long edition!)

As we are closing in on the deadline for the Adopt a Dollfie Dream Sasara Contest, I am getting ready to post all the applications I have received so far… I have received a total of 5 applications and I will post them in the order they were received.

Let me do a recap on the rules again~

• Hopefully, Danny won’t mind that I am using Figure.fm as the contest location, otherwise I will have to host it in my own site, which could be less fun
• Contestant must already be a member at Figure.fm, and have already introduced himself/herself to the community in one way or another, in an attempt to weed out any potential Dollfie Dream reseller.
• Contest will be consists of two parts
• The first part of the contest involves the contestant submitting an “application” to become Sasara’s new parent, this “application” can be represented in any form, it can be a Sasara fan art, can be a 4koma, composite photo, a poem, an essay, absolutely anything you can think of that can show how much you are going to love your new daughter Sasara.  Your goal here is to impress the “Judges” and show how much affection you have for Sasara, please keep that in mind and keep it in good taste.
• Contestants will have to submit their application to me at wolfheinrich at hotmail dot com no later than the end of the day on December 10th, 2009 CST.
• Now the next part is where both my own opinion and the public opinion will be considered:  I will choose one  favorite application (without telling anyone) and I will also post all of the applications to figure.fm for everyone to look at and vote for their favorite application.
• If the one I chose and the one chosen by the figure.fm community is the same application, then it’s automatic winner, no further contest would be necessary.
• If the one I chose and the one chosen by the community is not the same, the two contestants will advance to the next stage and have to answer a list of quiz questions I have prepared, the subject is of course going to be about Sasara’s storyline as it is presented in the ToHeart 2 PC version of the game (the OVA doesn’t count since I don’t consider that the real storyline), some questions about figure.fm and some about my own blog.  This part of the contest will have to be conducted in real time so whoever answered the all the questions correctly first will be declared as winner.

Ok that’s basically all the rules, the eventual winner will have to pay a “dowry” $650+$50 Express mail shipping/insurance to me at a paypal account I designated within a few days time so I can have Sasara sent out (with tracking number) to the winner in time for Christmas.

And almost 2 weeks later, I have received 5 genuine applications, I really appreciate all the work each participants have put forth.

Here’s my application for Sasara. It’s a small chibi sculpture I made out of paperclay and acrylics. I guess this shows how much I love her because after sculpting her image by hand I’ve really come to appreciate all the hard work Leaf put into her design and all the time Volks must have dedicated to give her the right face, wig, clothes and makeup to make an exceptional Dollfie Dream! Sasara really is a work of art. This is the first time I have made anything like this but I wanted to do something special to prove my love and admiration for Sasara.

If you only need one photo you can pick which one you like best but here’s a few just to show the sculpture at different angels.

The voting period is set for 48 hours, I will make further announcement on whether we have an outright winner or do we need to move on to the 2nd part of the contest.

Oh, one more thing.  I know there is no way I can actually enforce this, but let just say I will be very unhappy to see Sasara here being “resell” for profit in anyway.  I am doing this to specifically to avoid seeing Dollfie Dream being used for “profit” making while robbing legitimate collectors in despair.

A few days ago I have briefly mentioned in figure.fm that my 2nd Sasara from Volks USA lottery was due to arrive in a few days, well, today is the day. But why do I have a 2nd Sasara? Am I crazy? Madness? Insane? No, I had legitimate reason to do that, well, before Dollfie Dream Gathering announced that they are releasing DDDy body as a standard item that is. And to make a long story short, I am willing to consider putting up my 2nd Sasara up for adoption since there is no strong reason I have to keep her as parts anymore and I would much rather have someone who missed out on their chance to get their own Sasara to become her new parent.  And on top of there, a few figure.fm members have exhibited interest in adopting Sasara from me so I am writing this post to offer this chance to everyone to figure.fm and readers of my own blog.

It is my duty to find her a new loving home so I can’t just let her to go to any random family, definitely no to Dollfie Dream Sharks or Dollfie Dream Molester

(You may also notice there is also a Dollfie Dream Louise in the package, but she is not for me, I am holding her for a friend I owe a favor to for the next 6 months).
