With less than a month to go, Volks has finally released the Dollfie Dream set to debut in Home Town Dolpa Osaka 6. This time we have 2 girls from the Visual Novel Pure White Symphony ましろ色シンフォニー, 「瓜生桜乃」Uryuu Sakuno who will come out with an “S” bust and the cat loving「天羽みう」 Amaha Miu who will come with Dynamite body. The third girl is Mari who was introduced in the Evangelion Movie 2.0 You can (not) advance. The official Dollfie Dream images are out so let’s take a look at them

The head mold designer for both of the Pure White Symphony girls is Serika Misaki, previous work includes Morikawa Yuki, Mato Sakura, Kusugawa Sasara, Fate T Harlaown, Nanoha Takamachi, Escalayer, Saber, etc…
At first I was drawn towards Amaha Miu 天羽みう based on the 2D pics provided by comrade Stepwalker
But when I saw the final images, I was disappointed that she doesn’t quite look sexy enough for my taste.

I would probably go for her casual outfit just because there aren’t very many DDDy outfit to choose from~

Mari’s head designer is Kosuke Kitahara, previous work include Ogata Rina, Moe, Natsuki, Kan’u, Rei, Asuka, etc…
I personally find Mari rather charming! If I am going for a DD in Osaka 6, it’ll have to be her. She even come equipped with a Kentai (mobile phone) as default accessory.
Since the Tenshi no Sumika items are already out, might as well add them to this topic

Natsuki looks like an absolute fireball in this, must get!
Moe set, looks pretty good though, for S/M bust.

Mari is definitely the only DD I would be interested in. Mari is very cute and I absolutely love the glasses. Only thing holding me back would be I haven’t seen Evangelion 2.0 yet.
Even if you have seen the movie, I am not sure if she will give you a lasting impression based on her limited appearance in the movie. I have seen it both in the theater and subbed, all I can say is she doesn’t bother me.
Wow, really? That’s surprising. From all the attention Mari was getting I thought she played a huge role in the movie. Especially from her looking so cute.

Why is it not possible if you don’t mind me asking?
I thought she is an exclusive to the Home Town Dolpa Osaka 6 event, so I probably have a slim chance of getting her on auction sites. Not to mention I’m not really familiar with Dollfies =P
Yes DD Mari is exclusive to HT Dolpa Osaka 6. For International customer, who cannot attend the dolpa personally, there is a web based After Event lottery which usually happen 2 weeks after the main event where you can enter for the draw for any of the limited item at no cost to you unless you win. Sounds like a good deal eh? The question is, are you ready for Dollfie Dream? Remember, this is most probably the only opportunity where you can acquire the DD you want at base price; there is no 2nd chance. If you want to hear more about DD, feel free to come back here.
I would really love to get DD Mari.
I will be in Japan in late August. Please kindly advise is there any creative workaround/arrangement that I can get one. I am prepared to pay an fee on top of the base price if this is even a possiblity ? Thanks. Appreciate your help.

With those new promo photos from Volks actually not keen on the ‘Pure White Symphony’ girls, their faces look a bit too round, not defined enough to me.
Mari from ‘Rebuild of Evangelion’ looks fabulous though, with a facial sculpt that holds an expression between a subdued smile and dead-pan serious, she might be quite versatile. Nonetheless she doesn’t really appeal to me.
The uniform clothes sets look cute, but I just got a school uniform for my girls so don’t need one right away.

DD Mari looks to be a winner for me, has the most sex appeal out of the three. And like you said, their face mold are lacking definable features. I am going to gun for Natsuki’s uniform since I need them for Kiriha as usual XD
