Dollfie Dream Theater Side Story – Feena’s Surprised Present -

Oh my, how long has it been since I had last filmed any Dollfie Dream Theater episode? Ehhhh, too long…. I actually have something planned but haven’t been able to pull myself together to film the next story, which is to introduce Natsuki into the team.  Anyway, I have got a little side story prepared for you all to have a little chuckle with, hope you would enjoy it!  It all started a week ago when I came up with a secret project that involve using using a site call Snapfish.  I am sure a lot of you are already familiar with the name if you have a flickr account, here is a little story that I came up with.  Hope you will enjoy it =D  Hopefully this will serve as the warm up I needed to film the next Dollfie Dream Theater.

The Thirteenth Dollfie Dream Daughter’s Arrival ~Kuze Kiriha~

It has been a long wait since I have won the bloodiest auction battle I have ever participated in order to win the right to bring one of the rarest Dollfie Dream Kuze Kiriha home, released at Kyoto 5 of 2008, but her appearances in Yahoo Japan Auction is considerably more rare than Dollfie Dream before her such as Feena Fam Earthlight and Estel Freesia, Dollfie Dream that released along with her, such as Erika Sendo; and Dollfie Dream that released after her, such as Saber, Asuka Langley Soryu and Rei Ayanami.  Ever since I have finished play Fortune Arterial back in January, I have already determined to bring her home… and the wait is finally over!  I hereby present to you, my thirteenth daughter -Kuze Kiriha- 紅瀬桐葉!

To celebrate her arrival, I have Feena, my 4th daughter to come out and introduce her to us!

Illusion Soft Eroge Game Real Kanojo First Impression and Site News

With the last game from Illusion soft Yuusha[You Can't Escape From the Heroine] ended in utter disappointment, so bad that I didn’t bother writing a blog post about it (I gave up within 10 minutes of game play); I was really on the fence on whether I should even try to play their newest game Real Kanojo リアル彼女 which literally means Real Girlfriend.  For the last couple of years, Illusion soft has been focusing all of their effort on “sex simulator”, gone are the days of action adventure game such as AGA and *glup* can I say Des Blood 4?  Schoolmate Sweet! and @Homemate turned out to be adequately entertaining that I was at least curious about the game, boasting as their latest innovation in 3D technology and it even come with a pair of 3D glasses with the purchase of the game, by the account from Illusion soft, their demo version of the game has been downloaded 600,000 times!

The Fourteenth Dollfie Dream Daughter – Estel Freesia-

How should I put this?  I think I sealed the deal to adopt all of the Dollfie Dream that Volks licensed from August soft the moment I decided to adopt my thirteenth daughter Kiriha… because soon after I finished the paper work to bring her home, I suddenly came up with a very dangerous idea about doing a group photo based solely on the August girls (I call Feena, Estel, Erika and Kiriha as August Girls because they are all based on Visual Novel from August Soft, Brigther than Dawning Blue and Fortune Arterial respectively).  Some of my regular visitors here probably have read about the summary story I have written for Estel last year [Estel Freesia's normal arc].  Overall, I have to say I have taken a liking in her but not necessarily strong enough at the time to adopt her Dollfie Dream form last year, but I have in various occasions thought about doing so.  I have regretted over not picking up her Kotobukiya 1/8 scale figure when it was on sale last year, and I have been thinking about redeeming myself one of these days.  I even picked up her priestess uniform and her casual dress already, preparing to have Feena cosplay as Estel for photo shoot… but that plan fell apart after I came up with that group photo idea…

I really didn’t plan on adopting Estel so soon since I have just paid for Rina, Yuki and Kiriha and was planning to wait and see what Dolpa 23 had to offer before going for her; however, a very special deal on Yahoo Japan Auction came up this morning offering a brand new DD Estel and her casual dress for 70k with buy it now option.  Even though I have already acquired Estel’s casual dress in a previous auction, that deal is just too good for me to pass up!  For those of you who is not familiar with Estel’s casual dress, I have found a website that show us how versatile that dress is!  With the dress valued at about 20k yen, that effectively put a brand new Estel at 50k, which is almost as good as a steal! Kourin Tenshi En Ciel Rena & Mahou Senshi Sweet Knight 2 Artbook (NSFW)

In the last couple of days, I have seen blogging friend Blowfish to first reviewed his Queen’s Blade Reina Battle Book (NSFW) and Tier, not willing to let Blowfish to have all the glory of having more tentacles in his website than his own, pulled out his Mahou Shoujo Ai Illustrations (NSFW).  Now, while I have never been really vocal about my love and enjoyment of tentacles eroge, but it’s time for me to step up to my plate and show off my collection of tentacle related artbook!  To prove that I am no less of a tentacles fan than Blowfish and Tier!  Besides Mahou Shoujo Ai, which is right up there in the top tier of Tentacles Eroges, but there is another series of games that are also very famous for their SLG and tentacles actions, and that is the Mahou Senshi series 魔法戦士 by Triangle Soft, which I have previously discussed about in my 魔動装兵クラインハーゼ Kleinhasa post.  Here I present to you the artbook that I acquired for Kourin Tenshi En Ciel Rena & Mahou Senshi Sweet Knight 2.

Just How Well Have Your PVC Figures Aging Through Time?

A few months ago, blogging comrade Blowfish asked me about how well has my figure collection aged through the years.  I promised him I would look into it because I just so happen to have a pair of identical figures that remained unopened for the past 6 years or so.  I am sorry Blowfish >.<;  I kept pushing this out and out and out and now I realized that I pushed it out for 4 months!  But today, I am going to make good on my promise and do what I said I was going to do 4 months ago!  Here I present to you the pair of Pia Carrot 3 Hasegawa Akemi Floral Mint Type made by Kotobukiya back in January 2004.  The figure on the your right hand has been opened since the day it arrived at my house but it has been under the protection of my dust shield since there; on the other hand, the figure on your left has stayed in the box during this entire time, no accidental exposure to Ultraviolet light, minimum contact with air, etc.

I have always considered Ultraviolet light and oxygen the two biggest enemies to my figure collection, so I have made it a point to never expose my figure collection under direct sunlight for an extended period of time since it can cause chemical reactions to the PVC or painted surfaces of the figure.  Oxygen on the other hand, is an extreme active agent that can react with just about anything, including but not limited to paint, plastic, metal given enough time.  Obviously, I cannot eliminate oxygen since I do not have a vacuum sealed display cabinet, but I have taken steps to slow down the oxidation process by restricting airflow to my figure collection through my Dust Shield +1. The Weekend Random Activities~Loots, Ordered and Pre-Order

This has been a relatively productive weekend so far, there were several tasks that I set out to do, including clearing out some old eroge magazines, some old product manuals (stuff that I no longer check in years) and reshuffling display area to make room for my 11th-13th daughters (well Kiriha will arrive first but I got to make room for Rina and Yuki too!)

I have been wanting to clear out this bottom 2 shelves for some time now, they used to be occupied by some very old eroge magazines which are going to the recycle bin.

Back in the late 90s to 2003 or so, before the Internet really kick into high gear, I used to get most of the eroge game info from magazines such as E-Login and PC Angel (I am not really sure if E-Login is still in publication) but nowadays, it’s just so much easier to get up-to-date information from massive website such as Getchu.com, it would be highly unusual for me to go back to those days of reading eroge mag, but if I do, it would be for novelty purpose or they have some giveaway that are hard to resist. Vintage Toy Daitetsujin One-Seven 大鉄人１７

I have been thinking about going through some of my vintage toy collection for sometime now, but have been rather lazy and pushing it out.. Anyway, one of my favorite childhood show Daitetsujin One-Seven, one of the few TV shows that I somehow managed to retain clear memory of it until this very day, some 30 odd years later, I was about 3-4 years old when I saw it in Hong Kong.

Back in the early 70s, when Special Effect show (SFX) like Ultraman was really popular, the creator of the long and successful Kamen Rider series Shotaro Ishinomori 石ノ森 章太郎 produced Daitetsujin One-Seven 大鉄人１７.  It really didn’t hit main stream and it became more of a cult favorite more than anything else since the story is somewhat similar to that of Tetsujin 28.  The setting of the story was about the World Peace Organization created a Super Calculator called Burein ブレイン or Great Brain in some English translation, whose purpose to help preserve the human race.  Since Great Brain possessed a high level of artificial intelligent and later became self-aware, it determined that the human race was harmful to the environment and must be eliminated.  One-Seven was originally created by Great Brain to eliminate the human race, but One-Seven, which also possess intelligence of its own, came to a different conclusion than that of Great Brain.  That human can be saved and is not harmful to the planet.  So One-Seven decided to side with the human race. Dollfie Dream Escalayer X Sexy Demon Girl Set + Site update

Been an interesting past couple of days, I am still exciting over winning the bid on bringing a brand new Dollfie Dream Kiriha home with me, hopefully she would arrive within the next two weeks or so.  The extravagant bidding war over Dollfie Dream Kiriha a few days ago finally lured out another Kiriha parent to put his/her girl up for adoption (which is totally within my expectation), I will keep my eyes out on how this one play out.  While I am fairly certain that it will not reach the same price as what I had paid, mine is brand new and un-open, this one is “used”; it would still be interesting to see how many prospective Kiriha parents will show up to claim her.  Anyway, since it’s Sunday so I decided to put Escalayer into the Sexy Demon Girl set I recently acquired in the Feburary outfit collection, since I though the color scheme really suits Escalayer’s red hair.

The Thirteenth Dollfie Dream Daughter – Kuze Kiriha –

For the past month I have been in the hunt for my thirteenth daughter and it turned out to be one of the bloodiest auction battle I have ever fought in Yahoo Japan Auction… So who is this new daughter?  For the few of you who might have frequented the Puchi Blurbs in figure.fm, this new girls is one of the two Home Town Dolpa Kyoto 5 girls, here I present to you Kuze Kiriha!  Among one of the rarest Dollfie Dream in the auction market to-date.

Some of you might have recalled that I began playing Fortune Arterial in January, and as I got familiar with the story and the main characters, it became painfully obvious to me that I have to take Kiriha home somehow.  I have always liked the look of Kiriha but due to the lack of understanding of her story, I decided to pass on her when I saw her auctions last year.  What a costly mistake that was!  In fact, Kiriha had just become my most expensive daughter to-date, surpassing the almighty Saber.
