It felt like it’s been forever since the last time I talk about eroge game now, perhaps it has to do with the fact that the last Illusion game Yuusha Kara Wa Nigerarenai was too much of a failure for me to even spend any time on it. Anyway, what I am going to talk about this time is the Alicesoft 20th Anniversay Project: Alice 2010. The same company that brought us awesome games such as Mamatoto, Beat Angel Escalayer, Sengoku Rance, Daiakuji, Big Bang Age, Beat Blade Haruka and Toushin Toshi 3.
I have been a fan of Alicesoft games for many many years now, most of their games are very fun to play, challenging and require some level of fluency in Japanese before you can play effectively, not to mention most of their heroines are drop dead gorgeous! Every now and then, Alicesoft would do a fandisk release call the Alice Mansion, which contain a collection of omake stuff, songs, short stories etc. The year 2010 is Alicesoft’s 20th anniversary and they have prepared to go with a bang! Let’s take a brief look at what they have to offer!
Here we have Alicesoft’s mascot, Alice in her modern look; she has received many face lifts over the past 20 years or so, and needless to say, she is still one of the most kawaii eroge game company mascot around!
For those of you who have no idea what type of games Alicesoft make, I picked out some nice promotional video for Big Bang Age and Sengoku Rance~ Both video clips are rate All-Age

I am not going to talk about every item but to pick a few important highlight to talk about~
Rance 02 is going to get a complete remake with modern graphics
I have never played Rance 02 myself, but this is the chance for me to play with Rance’s earlier adventure (or his conquest to have sex with every woman in the entire universe…)
Mamatoto is back! With more scenarios and more maps! One of my favorite adventure and strategy games! More background information of Mamatoto can be found in Alicewikia.
Mamatoto isn’t just another eroge game, it’s about resource management, analyzing each maps and deploy your troops carefully.
Over the years, popular characters from other Alicesoft games would get incorporated into Mamatoto as guest characters and this time is no exception!
Most notable additions are Uesugi Kenshin and Sen Hime from Sengoku Rance, Shihoudou Narika from Beat Blade Haruka, Remedia Kalar from Tenshin Toshi 3 and 霧崎 楓 from Momoiro Guardian.
Next up is the dream battle between the Beat Blade Haruka Trio and Beat Angel Escalayer! Who can say no to this awesomeness?!!
Let me just say Alicesoft really know what I want here, to be able to see Escalayer in action again in modern graphics is a big huge bonus for me, not to mention with the Beat Blade Trio as well!
And a 120 page special pre-order booklet!
Alice Sound Collection 08, and a 2010 calendar. I haven’t gotten excited from new releases for some time now, but I know I am going to pre-order this game!

nice! Rance 02 has my attention, that sounds like one that i really want to play. who is the character in the last pic?
It’s been a while since I am motivated to pre-order a game, but I do plan do order this one! Rance 02 would be fun, not to mention the dream cross-over between Escalayer and Haruka!
Seems Rance 02 are upgraded (i like strategy style in mamatoto ala FFT or SRW)…but that haruka/escalayer combine…gonna wait about that so…I WAIT!!

Escalayer plus Beat Blades Haruka is so awesome that it might implode the galaxy. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing the Jougenshuu girls in action again (anime OVA notwithstanding, which was a bit of a disappointment. And kinda softcore.).
I need to figure out a way to mind control people so that I can get Alter to sculpt a Subaru figure.

If I am not completley mistaken Sengoku Rance has been recently completley Fan Translated aye?
Are we talking Fate/Stay Night like Visual Novel or generic lay the girl after an hour Visual Novel?
Most translated Visual Novels ive come across are sadly nothing more than porn with an halheartedly attached story.I prefer those that tell a great story and throw in some H to spice things up

Ehh, Sengoku Rance has some routes translated into English but I am not sure if the game is completely translated. Rance is not visual novel, it’s a area conquering simulation game, best described as same genre as Romance of the Three Kingdom.
Most eroge games are pretty crappy in terms of story, I am very selective in terms of the quality of the game itself. Alicesoft is one of those good company, after all they have been around for 20 years!

Ah, I see, the translation is completed. It is a good game, highly recommended if you are into area conquering simulation game.

Mamatoto is still one of my favorite games. The cross over is called Beat Blade Haruka: Haruka vs. Escalayer I think.
