Japan trip loots

Some of you who have been following my blog would know that I have just traveled to Japan recently for a super condensed sight seeing and shopping trip. I have a set of mission objectives that I wanted to accomplish, and I have managed to finish most of them by Saturday night Japan time. But how can it be? There are only 3 real days to work with, I have to be back in the airport before noon on Sunday. As I reveal the details of my complete walk-through of my super condensed Japan trip, it will become more obvious!
- See the Odaiba Gundam
- Watch the Kamen Rider movie
- Watch the Evangelion 2.0 movie You can (not) advance
- Shopping in Akihabara
- Shopping for Dollfie Clothes and appropriate size Rider belts
- Go to a maid cafe
I am fairly proud to say that I have accomplished every one of the above objectives even though this trip was so short. For starter, I am going to cover my loots during this trip and I will expand onto some of the finer details of my experience of my super condensed, super fast pace first trip to Japan. Without further ado, let me get started. First is the grand scale loots!
Obviously, you can’t really see anything like this, so let me break them down into their categories.

- Assortment of Hensei era Rider belts: Kiva, Kabuto, Den-O etc. These are still a bit big to fit the DD.
- Assortment of Kamen Rider Belt Tribute: Black, RX, Bio Rider, Robo Rider, Faiz, Shadow Moon and ZX. These are perfect fit for DD and you can pick them up as random from HLJ, follow the above link.
- Kamen Rider Diend belt, fit DD size waist, candy toy.
- Kamen Rider Decade belt, candy toy, same as number 4.
- Kamen Rider Decade digital watch
- The Next Decade Audio CD by Gackt, include a bonus DVD.

I think that’s about sum it all up, I shall do a more detail coverage on each categories in due time, but for now I have a lot of organizing I have to do!

Agree with lightningsabre. Your loot seems much more sensible when you break it down like that. ^^
Loving the Gundam stuff. Think I’ll get to Japan a few days too late to shop at the official store but maybe I can find a few of those items for a good price in second hand stores.
Nice Dollfie Maid outfits. When I saw that orange one, I thought of the Mirai version Dannychoo always has on Saber.

Hehe, they are all based on my favorite girls, minus the gundam stuff.
The maid outfit was pretty cheap, I forgot which one that was but their prices are considerably cheaper than Volks. The apron was great because I always wanted to do some Hataka apron action!
Yeah, the same thought occurred to me as well, but the more I think about it, it’s more like a waitress dress (like pia carrot) than a maid dress.

Asuka t-shirt was like 2500 yen, you could pick that up from HLJ, they still have some stock.

holy smokes, a carpet of goodies! awesome range of henshin belts and DD outfits, your daughters are going to be very happy ^^

Most of the hensei henshin belts were bought from a 2nd hand store where they sell them as open boxes so I know exactly which belt I was getting. The faiz belt was particularly expensive and they only had one. I have to think a lot before I decided to buy some thing because I wasn’t sure how to fit them all in the luggage. The Rin wallscroll didn’t fit but I managed to bring it home without damage. A couple of those 2nd hand store had DD too, the asuka was not expensive but the Estel was considerably more.

The trip was great, short but to the point and very effective. It was amazing how much walking I did during the past couple of days. I had to walk 30 minutes to watch the Kamen Rider movie, the Shinkenger movie had 3D effect so it was really cool as well.

Hehe, this certainly won’t be the last trip that’s for sure! I had a great time. I used my mostly broken Japanese and was able to navigate through without too much trouble. I wish I had more time to had proper meal since I only really had 2 proper dinners out of the 4 nights that I stayed. I really wanted to have a curry don, but alas no time since I was traveling with other friends.

Yeah, I was really thrilled to be able to get most of what I wanted to get. Picked up the aprons so I can use them Hadaka style =3 The dolpa 21 limited dress was the pleasant surprise because it’s a really cute dress.

I won’t ask what budget you spent. The sheer size of the sum might be too shocking to hear… >_<
If I may be so bold, was it really worth it? Spending so much (in traveling and lodging cost) for such a condensed trip?

I haven’t done an accurate account of the total sum I spent over this trip, probably don’t want to anyway!
Well, considering this was my first Japan trip, you can read the trip report of my Arrival and Day 1 now. This trip was more for the historical value, to be able to see the Odaiba Gundam with my very own eyes, to watch the ground breaking of 26 Riders gathering in the movie theater, to shop for dollfie clothes for my daughters, etc. I managed to complete all of the mission objectives I set out to do in 3 days. It was condensed, but an experience I won’t soon forget! It was definitely a worthy experience for me!

It’s a great to see u did most of ur Dollfie clothes shopping there. I think the prices are more reasonable there and u save a hell lot of shipping.

To me, a man’s worthiness is based on how much he can keep his words. And I am a man of my word, the 1:1 Rin Wallscroll was my best treasure out of this whole trip, well the Asuka microfiber towel came pretty close too the the various Feena merchandises.

and that’s awesome you were able to get all that done in just 3 days. i shop so slow i wouldn’t have had a chance to go all the places and pick up the loot

All the Sabers were all gone
but I was going for Rin anyway! Ahhh you should have told me, the Rin is a real treat!
I am a slow shopper too, but I have clear mission objectives and we were like Otaku Special Force; in and out of Japan with our loots! I am very happy to be able to accomplish as much as I did!
