Since Danny is kind enough to give us more time to prepare for the Miss Dollfie Summer 2009 pageant as I have talked about yesterday, I have decided to at least put one more daughter through the contest in the spirit of participation (actually, Asuka has been mad at me for not putting her in the contest; since I have more time now, I don’t have any excuse not to put her in!).  I have greatly enjoyed the experience so far and I got to see my daughters in a different light than the usual indoor environment.  My camera is kind of old and can’t store a lot of images at a time so I ended up having to do multiple runs to take all the photos I wanted… I still wanted to take more photos… may be I have to invest in a new camera after all >.>;

Today is the 2nd day that I have taken my daughters out, one of the destinations was actually a forest preserve type fishing ground with a view of a small lake.

And here I took a few group shots of my daughters with a view of the lake in the background!  It’s been very very hot in Chicago during the past 2 days (close to 98F to 100F), it’s actually quite a tiring event >.>;

This forest preserve is actually very close to my office so I took a swing by there and took a bunch of photos in the flower bed there as well.

And at the end of the day, after making multiple trips, my daughters and myself are all exhausted….

But I have finally gotten enough decent photos to put Asuka into the contest now!
