It’s been rather busy for the past couple of days, Fate and Nanoha arrived just a tad sooner than I expected or was it just poor planning on my part since I knew Fate was going to arrive in July; as a result, I only managed to prepare a room for them but it didn’t have lights in it before they moved in. The reason was rather simple, I didn’t have time to go to Ikea to pick up another Dioder set before they arrived! I really couldn’t call it a room without electricity running through, so I decided to go to the local Ikea after work so I can get a pack of Dioder. It was rather late when I arrived, by the time I get to the lighting section, I noticed all the Dioders were gone from the display rack, I was like, no way, how could it be?!! Then I realized this store is following the same footsteps as the other Ikea stores and keep the Dioder at the furniture pickup instead of keeping them in the display rack, I have no idea why they had to do that, it was so much easier before and now I have to line up to pick up a single pack of Dioder >.>; Luckily, this is one of those rare Ikea store that doesn’t have much of a line even on weekend, so I picked up the package within minutes and proceed to drive home.
After dinner, I immediately get to work and I made Fate and Nanoha wait outside of their room so I can install the lighting fixture.

For those of you who are not familiar of what their room used to look like, here is a photo before I installed the lighting fixture.
Just as I turned around, I noticed Fate and Nanoha are already carrying what I needed to finish the install!

Just when I thought we were done for the day…………
All of a sudden……..
Nanoha fell on her face down! This is the second time it has happened in the past week! I halfheartedly regretted that I didn’t take a photo of that last time, but this time for sure!
And here is another shot!
Nanoha was still crying after I picked her up, looks like I would have to get a stand for her sooner rather than later >.>;

awww poor Nanoha, lucky she was on the lowest level. that LED light strip is neat, what kind of stand will you get?
Well, I have to lift up the dust shield to take photo, usually even if they fall, the shield would stop them from going face down >.>; oh well. The disadvantage of going with non-glass cabinet is difficult to get ambient light to them so I adopted this strategy to add 2 Dioder strips on every level.
As far as stand goes, the only stand that works for Fate and Nanoha are probably the bended type c saddle stand since their default dress has the wire skeleton to allow it to flow freely. But those stand are all out of stock all the time >.>;
I laughed out loud. Poor Nanoha.
Cute how she cried after she fell. Same thing happened to my Haruhi during her photoshoot. Sometimes they fall over without warning. That’s why I’d never do a shoot with them on a ledge like I do for my figures.
Love the pics. My bro told me my Fate with 2 outfits came in the other day safe and sound. Can’t wait to do my own photoshoots too.
I couldn’t help laughing myself after I took the photo. Actually this is the 2nd time Nanoha fell face down within the week. She fell when I took the last group photo as well. Only this time I remember to first take a photo before picking her back up!
Fate’s clothes is a bit weird, oh they did go to metal snap button on both Nanoha and Fate’s dresses but for whatever reason, Nanoha’s top is held together by velco but Fate’s isn’t, it’s held together by metal hooks and small fine threaded loops (difficult to see). I have to take another photo of that when I redress Fate into office uniform.
An assassination attempt! A villain in the shadows wants Nanoha dead!
Well, it’s true that I didn’t witness the process when she fell, I was at my computer downloading the pictures and my view was blocked. But who could the villain be?
Poor Nanoha, but it’s kind of creepy to see her smiling even though she’s crying.
I think it was Rin who gave her a shove for this to happen.
I might have to look into that, it is possible the Rin could have given Nanoha a shove!
You should have fate comfort Nanoha! We all know Feito-chan’s charms will surely re-assure a crying Nanoha who’ll no doubt bury her tearful face in Fate’s bosom and then… *wipes blood trickling from nose*
If I get these two Dollfies I’d re-enact a yuri fest every day, that just wouldn’t be good… ^^;;

I could just hear the loud *BONK* when Nanoha fell on her face XD And uhhh… Nanoha holding wires really gives me an ecchi thought… *cough*bondage*cough*

I envy you very much having 7 dollfies, probably Saber Lily as my first dollfie and then follow by Asuka if I can afford them ^^
I am not sure if being a father of 7 is necessarily something to be envy of, my otaku budget has gone haywire lol.

so many dollfies! i got to see fate up close in the volks store in akiba… all i could do was sigh though ‘cuz i don’t really have plans to bleed my wallet with dollfies yet ^^;;

Ahhh the Volks store in Akiba, that’s also one of my destination if my trip happen next month. I have never spent so much money is so short of a time before, but unless I get them now, it will just get more expensive in the future. I have clear away 16170 cubic inches of space of my room for the dollfie (essentially every inch of display area I have left). I don’t know what I am going to do next now >.>;
Besides Kanu it is pretty rare for my dollfies to faceplant like that. Kanu for whatever reason falls over if you look at her funny. I love the picture of Nanoha pouting afterward.
