Choko Sennin Haruka is a heroine, insult, ninja, training + ADV eroge game release by Alicesoft back in Feburary 2008. Previously released figure related to this series includes Takamori Haruka from Alter and the yet to be released Shihoudo Narika also from Alter. Subaru is considered as the third and non-cannon heroine as she only joins you mid-way through the game and did not have her own cho-henshin costume. Despite the fact that Alicesoft did not consider her as main heroine, she is actually rather popular among the fans; probably due to her mature body build and her beautiful long black hair + ponytail. In this write up, I am going to attempt to give a summary of the game story as I would focus Subaru’s story as she joins the team as I don’t think I can talk about Subaru without talking about Haruka and Narika. I would finish Narika and Haruka’s stories in future write ups, otherwise, it would be too long.
The story began a few hundred years ago where Haruka and Subaru, both ninjas from Jougenshuu clan were battling against the Noroi clan in an attempt to recover a rare treasure that is capable of controlling time, stolen from their village when they were away. In order to retrieve the treasure from Noroi, they have to defeat all four of the 四道封者(Shidoufuuja) with each guarding their own respective gate within Mugen castle. Haruka, having sustained injury by defeating 桔梗太夫 (Kikotayu) in the previous battle were sitting on the sideline while Subaru took on 大蛇丸( Orochimaru). Just when Subaru was gaining the upper hand, another shidoufuuja showed up, this time it was 鋼一刀(Hagane Itou), the vice commander of the Noroi clan, the strongest swordsmen from the Noroi clan. Subaru realized that Haruka did not have the strength to participate in battle and decided to take on Hagane Itou alone, but only have to have her right arm cut off by him. Subaru knew that there was no chance for them to win against Hagane Itou and advised Haruka to retreat from the battlefield while looking for a way to hide inside their castle and track down the eventual destination of the Noroi clan as they prepare for time travel. Reluctantly, Haruka obeyed her senpai and ran off by herself.
In the next scene, you are zoomed to the present day. You play as Ikusabe Takamaru, a high school student who just got rejected by your most recent love interest because your cousin Shihoudo Narika, who also happens to be your martial arts instructor and landlord, Shihoudo Seigen’s daughter told your love interest you have over 50 ecchi books, 1000 ecchi pictures in your computer and over 100 eroge games in your possession! While you lamented over the fact that Narika always seems to be in your way of finding romances (10X total), you decided you need to find your next target for a change of pace. You walked over to the gym to try to recall the feeling of meeting your most recent love interest; as you approached the gym, you noticed there was a huge commotion. You forced your way through and you were greeted by these images.
The shining and soft looking hair, pure white skin, lips that look like sakura petals, her kind eyes, and her beautiful curve body that is being fully revealed by her tight gym suit…. instantly, you were love struck again. All within 30 minutes! While you were in your love struck mode, you heard a scream from a distance. A whole group of students went back to the school yard to find out what happened. As you arrived at the school yard, you found out there is a male student standing on the roof and trying to commit suicide. You decided you can’t leave the guy alone; you went up to the roof to try to stop him. You tried your best stop him but almost end up getting dragged down the roof along with him and you were screaming for help yourself. Your vision blacked out as you caught a glimpse of an angel.
You woke up at the school nurse office and you were greeted by Takamori Haruka, the angel you just met in the gym! While she seemed to know everything about you, she did want to find out why you were willing to put yourself in danger to save a stranger. Instinctively, you told her that you simply can’t let someone die in front of you, whether he is a friend or not. Feeling satisfied, Haruka left the school nurse office. As Haruka left the nurse office, you were greeted by the school nurse Kurogane Akira who filled you in on all the details regarding Haruka including her three sizes: 88, 62, 90.
Back in the training dojo, you ran into Narika, who couldn’t believe you were in a love struck mode again so soon after just getting rejected in the afternoon. Right when you were talking to Narika, your martial art instructor Shihoudo Seigen entered and prepared to introduce the new assistant instructor, who is none other than Takamori Haruka, the angel you fell in love with! Feeling lucky, you challenged her to a test of strength as the number two student in the dojo with full intention of just making body contact. To your surprise, you were easily disposed of without so much of a fight. While you were admiring Haruka’s true skill, Narika went up for the challenge as she thought you went easy on her because of her beauty. While Narika was able to put up a surprise attack, she was of no match to Haruka either.
After the training session in the dojo, you were walking home along with Narika and were ambushed by a group of Noroi foot soldier. Luckily, Seigen and Haruka showed up just in time in her full ninja costume and took care of the foot soldiers in an instant.
Haruka reintroduced herself as a ninja of the Jougenshuu clan from a few hundred years ago, who has been pursing her enemy known as Noroi to this land. While Narika was questioning the truthfulness of Haruka’s story of time travel, Seigen stepped in and explained that hunting down the Noroi clan has been their mission as Jougenshuu clan passed down by the word of mouth through the generations. As Haruka tried to explain the origin of the Noroi clan, Orochimaru of the Noroi clan showed up with the intention of capturing you, the recipient of dragon power of this generation. As Orochimaru explained, the dragon power is necessary in order to heal Noroi’s wound. During the commotion, Seigen advised you and Narika to leave the situation for them to handle and retreat. And Haruka, having learned that Surbaru is still alive within Mugen Castle from Orochimaru were forced into great disadvantage against him because of her depleted strength. Unable to leave Haruka alone, you stepped in between Orochimaru and Haruka even though you knew you had no chance of defeating him. As Orochimaru was making you his practice target, Seigen stepped in and urged you and Haruka to escape because her power is necessary in order to save this world.
When the two of you reached a nearby alley, Haruka began to explain that you were actually the next Jougenshuu leader of this generation and you possess the power of the dragon that is unique to your bloodline. Feeling a bit embarrassed, Haruka asked you to help her restore her battle power as she began to take off her ninja outfit.
Feeling completely dumbfounded, you were at a lost as to why Haruka began to take off her clothes as this was no time nor place to do anything ecchi. Haruka explained that in order for female ninja of the Jougenshuu clan to reach their full battle strength, they must experience sexual arousal through the hands of the Jougenshuu head-and that is you! While you were unsure about doing ecchi stuff to Haruka for this purpose at first, you were able to recharge Haruka’s energy to full at the end.
Haruka re-emerged from the alley full of energy and gained upper hand against Orochimaru in an instant. Right at this moment, Mukuroi Ensai the leader of the Noroi clan, along with Hagane Itou and many foot soldiers showed up in the scene and demanded you to turn yourself in to them, being totally outnumbered, you were on the verge of giving yourself up.
As you walked toward Mukuroi Ensai, you were stopped by a familiar voice. The origin of that familiar voice came from your school nurse Kurogane Akira, who revealed herself to be part of the Jougenshuu clan. She flipped open her mobile phone and activated a seal which covered the whole city with a five pointed star.
The seal caused everyone from the Noroi clan to suffer great pain and they were forced to retreat, but not before taking Seigen and a bunch of Jougenshuu clan ninja as hostage.
Three days later, you woke up at Akira sensei’s house as you recall the events of the past few days. Narika’s father, Shihoudo Seigen, Haruka’s seipai Subaru and a bunch of Jougenshuu clan have been held captive inside Mugen Castle, Noroi clan’s main base. And in order to save them and defeat Noroi, Akira have entrusted Haruka into your capable hands and you became responsible to recharge Haruka’s energy.
This mark the end of Prologue
Now the real story begin, I am glad that not every eroge has a prologue this long… wait… Toushin Toshi 3 has a prologue that’s easily 10 times longer! Well, let’s not worry about that… if you haven’t been bored by the story so far, we are about to dive down to each heroine’s specific story. And we will start with Subaru, this might feel a little out of place right now as she only joins you further into the game.
Subaru is a very skillful Sennin who specializes in ice ninjitsu, and a very experienced sexual partner. She has a cold exterior demeanor and initially had trouble adapt to the present age.
She projected her past Jougenshuu head onto you and she felt your easy going attitude as not fit to be the next Jougenshuu head. She initially rejected the idea of recharging energy through your dragon power and forced you to perform early morning exercise until you fell ill. In one instance, she sorties without your permission and she ended up falling into an enemy trap without much battle energy. You got up and despite your illness and deployed Haruka and Narika to rescue Subaru. After this incident, Subaru began to understand that although you are different from her past Jougenshuu head, your kindness and selfless attitude made you equally qualify for the Jougenshuu head position. As the game progresses, Subaru and you began to develop feelings for each other.
During her time as captive to the Noroi clan, she was continuously tortured by demons in graphical details that is too much to be doctored up and shown in this website 
. Despite the continuous torture, Subaru never gave in and one of the Shidoufuuja, Kikotayu ended up controlling her mind by infusing herself into her missing right arm.

Near the end of Subaru’s arc, Kikotayu was able to land another curse on Subaru just before her dying breath. This curse on Subaru ended up providing a host body for Noroi to temporarily resurrect himself. He captured Haruka and Narika and demanded you to hand over your dragon power. As a last gap measure, you invited Noroi (in the form of an insect) into your body to retrieve your dragon power so that he had to give up his control over Subaru. As Subaru regained consciousness, you ordered her to stab Noroi thru your body while you use your power to hold Noroi near your chest area. Subaru ended up stabbing you with her chokuto and killed Noroi.
In the aftermath, you and Subaru were in your honeymoon after getting married. But your honeymoon was forced to cut short because a heavily armed criminal organization has shown up and they needed Subaru’s strength. Before you were able to do anything, Subaru reminded you that you need to give her a morning kiss before you can get up! How sweet

Oh man… that took a long time, but at the same time, I have renewed my own interest in Subaru as well lol. Now if you are still with me here, we are onto her photo session! As I mentioned before, the unique point about this kit is that almost every pieces of her clothes are magnetically attached to her body, save for her stocking. The following photo session were taken as I assembled her from pieces.
This is a first mega post for me! I ended up putting in a lot of details on the background story and well I did end up playing the game over just to be sure I don’t make any false assumption. As a result, I ended up finding stuff that I missed during my first play through. In the end, I feel it’s still a benefit for me. As usual, I would like to seek some feedback on a feature like this, photo session + background story. Is it too much details or just about right? Next write up would most likely be Haruka and I am saving Narika for last since her new figure would come out in July.

I love E2046s magnetic cast off feature.Its so much better than the usual castoff hassle you have with normal PVC figures.The usual castoff clothes tend to look clunky and make the figure look bigger than it is.Im glad that E2046 is doing it with style.
I had the same problem with Asukas right arm but I simply put some oil into the hole and then it went in.

Well, there are some percentage of PVC figures that were made bulkier than they needed to for the cast off features. One that comes to mind immediately is Uesugi Kenshin by Griffon. Her body was way too bulky with the armor on… I don’t think there has been a good looking Kenshin PVC yet, save for the Gathering version because I thought she looks lovely in the Gathering version. I am hoping Freeing will deliver a good quality Kenshin.
nice write up. looks like my own understanding of the game was more or less accurate (for games like these i’m not paying as much attention to the story as say, in a key game ^^;;)
magnetic cast off is genius. hope that becomes the norm soon. if i had to complain i’d say her face is sliiightly off but really it’s fine.

as far as feedback for your post in general, i appreciated the details just ‘cuz i was curious to see if i understood the plot correctly and like details for subjects i’m interested in. you might lose some peeps by having that wall of text but then again, if they chose to read the article you would think they’d have some baseline interest in the material. perhaps for convenience a hyperlink to the figure shoot section would be nice for those who just wanted the review pics.

Well, I understand your reference to Key game. Yes, most people probably don’t care about the story as much as I do; the story is less dramatic. I used to play the game with AGTH and Atlas but can only understand less than 25% of the game story. I was sad because I could not understand the important details. I am stubborn about details because I am an Engineer. Then less than a year ago, I found out about the tools I am using now. Now I am truly enjoying the game without hitting the crtl key.
Oh and the wall-o-text, yes it’s probably my bad. But more or less I am writing this to seek out other people who care about details as much as I do so we could learn from each other.

Great summary of the story! I actually read the whole text, and I do hope you will post a similar one for Haruka and also Narika. (Maybe I am those guys who just love reading -_-)

Yes, I do intend to finish Haruka and Narika’s stories as well. This will cement my understanding of their stories and appreciate their figures even more. Luckily, the Alter version of Haruka is already good enough so I use just that.
Someone has got to want to know where their Alter Haruka came from right?!! I can’t be the only one who wants to know everything about her!
Haha, she’s actually one of my impulse purchases. After I got her I tried to look for her story but either it is not enough or it is in pure Japanese (Can’t understand 80% of them :-p). So I’m kinda excited to see a guy summarizing it all.
The Alter version Haruka is truly a nice figure, no shame on the impulse purchase. I remember most of Haruka’s story right off hand, her personality is not as exciting as Narika, like I told Rock U!, she felt for you instantly and stay submissive through out the story, no drama, no misunderstanding, no jealousy. It’s like a step function, you go from 0 to 1 and stay as 1 forever >.>
Whereas for dramatic purposes, I would rather see a sine function and then transition to an exponential function, go right through the roof!
Excellent summary I do hope you will post a similar one for Haruka and also Narika.
